Thane Weather

The climate in Thane more or less resemble Mumbai’s climate. It is generally tropical and humid. The tourists hence prefer to skip the summer season as travelling and sightseeing can get a tad uncomfortable.

Summer

The summer season in Thane extends from the month of March to the month of June. During this period, the temperature ranges from 32℃ to a scorching 40℃. The location of the district near the Arabian Sea however prevents the place from getting too heated.

Monsoon

Post the summer season, the monsoons arrive as a pleasant respite to the hot weather. The Thane Monsoons last from the months of March to June – a period during which the region receives extensive rainfall from the Southwest Monsoon winds. July is usually the wettest month of the year.

Winter

The period from December to February marks the Winter season in Thane. Like in all other tropical regions, this time of the year proves to be a good time for sightseeing activities. The temperature hovers around an average 15℃, with 8℃ being the minimum it dips to.
