Bangalore Palace is a royal palace located between Sadashivanagar and Jayamahal in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. The credit for initiating the construction of the palace in 1862 goes to Rev J Garrett. He wanted it to look like Winsor Castle in England. It was later bought by Chamaraja Wodeyar, the ruler of the Wodeyar Dynasty in 1884. Spanning over a 45,000 sq ft floor area the construction of this palace took 82 years to complete.
