Paradip Weather

The best time to travel to Paradip is between the months of November and March.  The place sees a large influx of tourists during these months because the weather is quite cool and comfortable at this time of the year. However, it is best to travel with light winter clothing in case it gets chilly during the evenings and at nights.

Summer

With the advent of the summer season in March, Paradip starts getting very hot. The sweltering sun causes humidity in the atmosphere making the weather unbearable. Summer ends in May and in this season temperature can go as high as 41° Celsius.Traveling to Paradip during the summer is not advisable.

Monsoon

Paradip receives heavy rainfall during the monsoon season. Monsoon sets in the month of May and continues till September. October sees sporadic rainfall. The place receives an average rainfall of 1480 mm annually.

Winter

Towards the end of October, winter creeps in Paradip.  The weather remains quite pleasant till mid-November after which it starts getting cold. The place experience cold waves, like other parts of Orissa. Temperature dips down to around 9° Celsius at night. The winter season lasts until the beginning of March.
