Waste-to-Art Dinosaur Theme Park: Get ready to step into a prehistoric world where dinosaurs roam freely and scrap metal takes on new life. The Municipal Corporation of Delhi is set to open a one-of-a-kind dinosaur theme park at Sarai Kale Khan by the end of December. Senior civic officials announced on Monday that artists are putting the final touches on 40 dinosaur sculptures made entirely out of scrap metal, proclaiming the park as "India's first waste-to-art theme dinosaur park".

Transforming Scrap into Spectacular Sculptures
The 3.5-acre park, located alongside the Waste to Wonder park at Sarai Kale Khan, is the latest in the string of waste-to-art theme parks developed by MCD. Using tonnes of metallic scrap, artists and workers have created sculptures based on various themes. This initiative by MCD is aimed at promoting recycling and repurposing of waste materials, while creating engaging spaces for public enjoyment.

More than Just Dinosaurs
The dinosaur theme park will not just feature metal-made prehistoric creatures, but also offer a host of amenities for visitors. Landscaped with trees, shrubs, grass and ornamental plants, the park will also have benches, a connecting walkway to all sculptures, garden huts, and a food court. The park will also feature interactive elements like light, sound and a toy train for children.

Reviving the Prehistoric Era Through Art
According to Vinit Barot, an artist from Baroda working on the project, diverse materials such as construction and demolition waste, old tyres, and garden waste have been used to create the exhibits. The dinosaur displays at the park will include a wide variety of species, with some installations featuring sound and light elements to create an immersive experience for visitors.
India's first waste-to-art dinosaur theme park is a testament to creativity, innovation and sustainable practices. As the artists breathe life into scrap metal, visitors will have the unique opportunity to witness these once formidable creatures in an entirely new way. The park is not just a tribute to the fascinating dinosaurs, but a reflection of how waste can be transformed into something incredible, leaving a lasting impact on the minds of the visitors. The dinosaur park is sure to be a roaring success, making it a must-visit attraction in the city.
