The Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) has implemented a temporary ban on the sale of non-vegetarian food near the Bengaluru Air Force Station to ensure safety during Aero India 2025. This decision aims to reduce bird strikes, which can be dangerous during the airshow. The restriction applies to all meat stalls, fish and chicken shops, as well as hotels and restaurants serving non-veg dishes within a 13-kilometre radius of the air force station. The ban begins on January 23 and highlights the importance of safety for this prestigious event.
About Aero India 2025
Aero India 2025, India's premier aviation exhibition, is scheduled to take place from February 10 to February 14 at the Bengaluru Air Force Station. The event will showcase top defence and aerospace technologies, attracting over 800 exhibitors, 53 aircraft, and an estimated 700,000 visitors from across the globe. Defence investors, Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), MSMEs, startups, foreign investors, military suppliers, and research organisations are expected to participate.
