The Vibrant Navratri Festival, a dazzling celebration that puts the spotlight on Gujarat's renowned Garba festival, is poised to kick off with grandeur at GMDC, Ahmedabad. Scheduled for an October 3rd start, this year's festivities will open under the esteemed patronage of Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Bhai Patel.

The Vibrant Navratri Festival witnessed an impressive turnout in recent years. The 2022 edition saw over 11.52 lakh visitors, a figure that surged to more than 12.71 lakh in 2023, marking an 11 percent increase in attendance over two years. These statistics, provided by the Gujarat Tourism Corporation Limited, underscore the festival’s expanding appeal, drawing both locals and tourists to the cultural extravaganza.

Schedule of Vibrant Navratri Festival

The festival, which has gained international acclaim for its vibrant cultural showcase, promises an array of attractions and programmes that will run from October 4th to 11th. The Inauguration will be 8 PM on October 3rd along with Maha Aarti.

From October 4rth the Sheri Garba will be organized. Timings of the Garba programmes for attendees from is 9 pm to 11.45 pm. The show is open for all. The Maha Aarti, is scheduled for 11.45 pm at GMDC.

A Glimpse into the Festivities

This year's festival is themed around Adhyashakti, with a multimedia cultural program and Maha Aarti set to mesmerize attendees during the opening ceremony. Additionally, the festival will feature performances by some of Gujarat's most celebrated artists and singers, further enhancing the event's cultural richness. The closing highlight, a Maha Aarti, is scheduled for 11.45 pm at GMDC, capping off the evening with spiritual reverence.
