Here's something for people who are looking forward to travelling to the UAE. The UAE has affirmed tourists and travellers from 14 nations, including India, to return or travel to the country from Monday, 11/09/2021 according to a report. The passengers, nevertheless, must be vaccinated against Covid-19 with a vaccine or vaccine recommended by the World Health Organisation (WHO).
Besides India; Nepal, Namibia, Pakistan, South Africa, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, South Africa, Vietnam, Uganda, Zambia, Democratic Republic of Congo, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Nigeria, and Afghanistan are the other 14 nations whose residents can fly into the UAE from 12 September 2021.
"Those who are fully vaccinated with any WHO-approved vaccines and who have been staying in one of the countries in the suspended list for more than six months since suspension decision was issued for each country, can come to the country under a new entry permit, and rectify their status after entry," said the NCEMA on Friday.
The resolution comes as one of the UAE's seven emirates, Dubai, is planning to start the Expo 2020 World Fair in October after 12 months delay due to the unprecedented pandemic. The local market and tourism hub is relying on the Expo 2020 fair to give it's economy a boost, according to the report.
