Trains with Revised Timings: Northern Railway has Made Changes to Five Train Services

Northern Railway has announced revised timings for five trains, including three passenger trains and two Vande Bharat Express services. The changes have been made due to operational reasons and will come into effect from June 28, 2026, and September 2, 2026.

Trains with Revised Timings by Northern Railway

• The timing changes for Train No. 54616 Pathankot-Amritsar Passenger will be effective from June 28, 2026. The revised schedule will apply at stations such as Chhina, Batala Sugar Mill, Batala Junction, Jaintipura, Kathunangal, and Verka Junction. However, the departure from Pathankot and the timings at the remaining stations will stay the same.

• Another train with revised timings is Train No. 54075 Bareilly-Delhi Junction Passenger. From June 28, it will leave Bareilly at 5:35 PM, instead of the current 5:15 PM. The timings at several stations between Bareilly and Chandausi Junction have also been changed.

• Similarly, Train No. 54351 Aligarh Junction-Bareilly Passenger will reach Bareilly at 6:15 PM, instead of the earlier arrival time of 5:50 PM, from June 28, 2026. No changes have been made to the timings at any other station on this route.

• Northern Railway has also revised the departure timings of two Vande Bharat Express trains from Varanasi, with the new schedule taking effect from September 2, 2026.

• Train No. 20888 Varanasi-Ranchi Vande Bharat Express will now leave Varanasi at 3:55 PM, which is 10 minutes earlier than its current departure time of 4:05 PM.

• Similarly, Train No. 22500 Varanasi-Deoghar Vande Bharat Express will depart Varanasi at 6:10 AM, instead of 6:20 AM, making its departure 10 minutes earlier.

Passengers planning to travel on these trains are advised to check the latest schedules before starting their journey. They can verify updated train timings through the National Train Enquiry System (NTES) or by calling the railway enquiry helpline 139. Checking the revised schedule in advance will help passengers avoid inconvenience and ensure a smooth journey.
