Trains to be Disrupted: Check out the List of Trains to be Affected Due to Railway Work at Champa Station

Railway passengers travelling through the South East Central Railway zone will face major problems in June due to railway work at Champa station. The Railway administration has announced cancellation, diversion, short termination, and rescheduling of many trains due to the fourth-line connectivity work between June 7 and June 19. Officials said this is one of the biggest disruptions in the zone in recent years.

Trains to be Disrupted

According to the Railways, 64 express trains and 13 MEMU and passenger trains will remain cancelled during this period. Apart from cancellations, eight trains will be diverted, seven trains will either start or end their journey midway, and five trains will run late.

Local Passenger Services to be Disrupted

Several local passenger services will also not operate. These include the Raigarh-Bilaspur MEMU, Gevra Road-Raipur MEMU, and Korba-Raipur Passenger trains from June 7 to June 19. Other MEMU services between Bilaspur, Gevra Road, Korba, and Raigarh will also remain cancelled from June 8 onward.

Other Trains to be Affected

Many important long-distance trains have also been cancelled on different dates. Some of them are the Tatanagar-Bilaspur Express, South Bihar Express, Ahmedabad-Howrah Express, Howrah-CSTM Express, and Hatia-Pune Express. Other cancelled trains include the Puri-Jodhpur Express, Porbandar-Shalimar Express, Kamakhya-LTT Express, Vasco Da Gama-Jasidih Express, and Raxaul-Hyderabad Express.
The Railways have also cancelled trains such as the Cherlapalli-Darbhanga Express, Shalimar-Bhuj Express, Indore-Puri Humsafar Express, Hirakund Express, and Kalinga Utkal Express during the affected period.

In addition, some premium trains, including the Howrah-Pune Duronto Express, CSTM-Howrah Duronto Express, and Jnaneshwari Express, will run on diverted routes through Jharsuguda, Titlagarh, and Raipur between June 11 and June 17.
