Trains to be Disrupted: South Coast Railway Vijayawada Division has Announced Temporary Changes

The South Coast Railway (SCoR) Vijayawada Division has announced temporary changes in train services due to signalling and infrastructure development works being carried out at the Narsapur railway yard. As a result, several trains running between Guntur, Vijayawada, Rajahmundry, Nidadavolu, and Narsapur will either be short-terminated or start their journeys from different stations on June 18 and 19.

Trains to be Disrupted due to Changes in Vijayawada Division

According to railway officials, Train Nos. 67243 and 67280 operating between Nidadavolu and Narsapur will run only up to Palakollu on June 18 and 19. Similarly, Train No. 67258 from Vijayawada to Narsapur will also terminate at Palakollu on June 18.

Train No. 17281, which runs from Guntur to Narsapur, will end its journey at Bhimavaram on June 18 instead of reaching Narsapur. On June 19, Train No. 17263 from Bhimavaram Junction to Narsapur and Train No. 67245 from Nidadavolu to Narsapur will both be short-terminated at Palakollu.

Railway authorities have also made changes to the starting points of several trains. Train No. 67247 from Narsapur to Guntur will depart from Palakollu on June 18 and 19. Likewise, Train No. 67276 from Narsapur to Vijayawada will also start from Palakollu on both days.

On June 19, Train No. 67246 from Narsapur to Rajahmundry will originate from Palakollu instead of Narsapur. Train No. 17282, which normally runs from Narsapur to Guntur, will start from Bhimavaram Junction on the same day.

Moreover, Train Nos. 67279 and 17270, which operate between Narsapur and Nidadavolu, will originate from Palakollu on June 19.

Advisory for Passengers

The railway administration has advised passengers to check the revised train schedules before starting their journey. These temporary changes have been made to facilitate important signalling upgrades and development work at the Narsapur yard, which will help improve railway operations and infrastructure in the future.
