South Western Railway has announced temporary changes to the operation of a few train services due to track maintenance and welding works on the Kadur-Arsikere section. The work includes Track Through Renewal (TTR) and welding activities at Kadur-Ballekere, Ballekere Yard, Ballekere-Devanur, Devanur Yard, Devanur-Banavar, Birur-Kadur, Banavar Yard

(Down Line), and Arsikere-Banavar (Up Line). The maintenance is being carried out to improve track safety and ensure smoother train operations.
Trains to be Affected by South Western Railway
As a result, Train No. 16214 SSS Hubballi-Arsikere Express will remain partially cancelled between Birur and Arsikere on selected dates from July 10 to September 12. The affected dates are July 10-13, July 16-20, July 23-27, July 30 to August 3, August 6-10, August 13-17, August 20-24, August 27-31, September 3-7, and September 10-12. In total, the train will be affected for 47 days. During this period, it will terminate at Birur instead of running up to Arsikere.
Similarly, Train No. 16213 Arsikere-SSS Hubballi Express will be partially cancelled between Arsikere and Birur on selected dates from July 11 to September 13. The affected dates are July 11-14, July 17-21, July 24-28, July 31 to August 4, August 7-11, August 14-18, August 21-25, August 28 to September 1, September 4-8, and September 11-13. The train will operate from Birur instead of Arsikere on these days and will depart from Birur at its scheduled time.
In addition, Train No. 16213 Arsikere-SSS Hubballi Express will be rescheduled by 35 minutes on September 14, 15, and 16 due to the ongoing maintenance work.
