Prime Minister Narendra Modi is visiting Gujarat for two days, starting today. This is his first visit since Operation Sindoor. He will launch and lay the foundation of several development projects worth over ₹82,950 crore. To prepare for this important visit, the Ahmedabad traffic police have shared important travel advisories and road closures.

PM Modi s Mega Roadshow in Ahmedabad

Roadshow and Cultural Events

PM Modi's roadshow is planned for the evening. More than 50,000 people are expected to attend the roadshow and various cultural programs. The roadshow will begin at 6:30 pm, starting from Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport and going up to Indira Bridge.

To make sure traffic flows smoothly and security is in place, the Ahmedabad Police Commissioner has asked people to avoid certain routes after 3 PM today.

Key Roads Affected and Alternate Routes

One major road that will be completely closed is the stretch from the airport to Apollo Circle. People going to Gandhinagar from Indira Bridge should take the Nobel Nagar T-junction, then go through Nana Chiloda Crossroads and Karai Crossroads to reach Apollo Circle.

For those traveling from Indira Bridge to Dafnala, special alternate routes have also been planned. Similarly, for people going from Apollo Circle towards Indira Bridge or Shahibaug, alternate paths have been arranged.

Another road that will be closed is from Dafnala Crossroads to Bhadreshwar Y Junction. To go to Gandhinagar from Dafnala Crossroads, travelers can take Subhash Bridge Circle and Tapovan Circle. Another option is to travel from Dafnala Crossroads to FSL Crossroads, then Memco Crossroads, and finally Nana Chiloda Circle. This route includes several key junctions like Galaxy and Sutarna Karkhana Crossroads.

Special Help for Air Travelers

Many people might worry about reaching the airport on time. For this reason, the Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic), Ahmedabad (East Zone), has shared an important message. He said that if someone has a flight and faces trouble because of the road closures, they can show their flight ticket to the traffic police and take the route.

Traffic Rules Timing

All the traffic changes will be active between 4 PM and 9 PM. These steps have been taken to make sure that everything runs smoothly, safely, and without confusion during the Prime Minister's visit.

Prime Minister Modi's visit is important for Gujarat's development. At the same time, the city of Ahmedabad is making careful plans to handle the large crowds and keep everyone safe. With clear traffic advisories and special routes, the city is ready to welcome the Prime Minister while caring for its people and travelers.
