Are you here after reading the headline? So, let me tell you, it is true, this time, Ladakh is hosting a fashion show like no other. A special fashion event called "Ladakh International Fashion Runway" will be conducted at the highest motorable road in the whole world, Umling La, at the height of 19,022 ft in 2023 as one most interesting part of the Ladakh International Music Festival (LIMF).
This year's event, which has scheduled to run from 23rd August to 3rd September 2023, aims to bring together women leaders from G20 nations and guests to discuss notions of empowerment through friendship & peace. The Ladakh Art & Entertainment Alliance (LAEA) initiated the event, which aims to exemplify the G20 summit's spirit.
According to LAEA Director and Co-Founder Pankaj Gupta, the event is an official attempt to set a new record that will be entered into the "Guinness World Book of Records". In the heart of the Himalayas, the festival offers spectacular performances, exquisite fashion, gorgeous scenery, and an appreciation of culture, the arts, and mutual respect.

The fashion exhibition at Umling La is evidence of Ladakh's rising stature as a popular tourist destination. Famous Miss Universe, Miss World, & Miss Earth title holders are participating in the beauty contest. Umling La offers a distinctive venue for this event because of its difficult terrain and high altitude. It is regarded as the highest motorable road in the world and is located at a height of more than 19,300 feet.
According to sources, a few of the gorgeous women that will attend the fashion show includes:
- Miss Earth India 'Vanshika Parmar'

According to the source, all of the models taking part in the event will bring in half a kilogram of sand from their home nations in an amazing show of solidarity. After the show is over, this sand will be combined with concrete to form a creative structure that will reflect "Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam", which means "the world is one family" a phrase that echoes the G20 summit's theme and symbolises unity.
