Success Story Of The Mumbai-Solapur And The Mumbai-Sainagar Shirdi Vande Bharat Express

The Mumbai-Solapur Vande Bharat Express and the Mumbai-Sainagar Shirdi Vande Bharat Express were both introduced last month by Indian Railways. In the month since their introduction, the two Vande Bharat trains have carried 1,00,259 people over a span of 32 days. Since they debuted on February 11th, thanks to their enormous popularity, these trains have generated a total of Rs. 8.60 crores in income.

Train number 22225, a train named, Mumbai-Solapur Vande Bharat Express carried 26,028 people from CSMT, Dadar, Kalyan, Pune, and Kurduwadi, generating revenue of Rs. 2.07 crore.

The 22226 Solapur-Mumbai Vande Bharat Express carried 27,520 commuters from Solapur, Kurduwadi, and Pune, bringing in Rs. 2.23 crore in revenue.

The 22223 Mumbai-Sainagar Shirdi Vande Bharat Express carried 23,296 commuters from CSMT, Dadar, Thane, and Nashik Road, bringing in Rs. 2.05 crore in revenue. The 22224 Sainagar Shirdi - Mumbai Vande Bharat Express carried 23,415 commuters from Sainagar Shirdi & Nashik Road, generating revenue of Rs. 2.25 crore.

On February 10 from Mumbai's Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminal, Prime Minister Narendra Modi signaled the start of the Vande Bharat trains. The ninth and tenth Vande Bharat trains in the nation are the Mumbai-Solapur-Mumbai Vande Bharat Express and the Mumbai-Sainagar Shirdi-Mumbai Vande Bharat Express, respectively.

The enormous success of these trains has encouraged the Railways to offer its prized passengers modern, comfortable, and high-speed transportation. The Vande Bharat trains, according to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, will link economic hubs like Mumbai and Pune to places of worship, making travel for school, work, commerce, pilgrimage, and agricultural purposes more convenient.

He said that the new Vande Bharat trains will make it simpler to go to holy locations such as Shirdi, Nasik, Trimbakeshwar, & Panchvati, which will enhance both tourism and pilgrimage. The Solapur Vande Bharat Express will also make the pilgrimages of Pandharpur, Solapur, Akkalkot, and Tuljapur more accessible, he added.

The Vande Bharat train, according to the prime minister, is a striking representation of contemporary India. It reflects the speed and magnitude of India. In response to a question about how quickly Vande Bharat Trains were introduced, the prime minister said that 10 of the trains have already begun running, connecting 108 districts across 17 states in the nation.
