The South Central Railway (SCR) has announced the operation of four special trains between Hyderabad, Vijayawada, and Sirpur Kagazhnagar to manage the heavy rush of passengers during the Sankranti festival. These special services will run from January 10 to January 19, giving travellers more options during the festive season.

Special Trains from Hyderabad
The four special trains include services between Hyderabad and Sirpur Kagazhnagar in both directions and between Hyderabad and Vijayawada in both directions. These trains have been introduced mainly to reduce overcrowding on regular trains and to help passengers travel comfortably during the holiday period.

These include Secunderabad, Charlapalli, Bhongir, Aler, Jangaon, Ghanpur, Kazipet, Uppal, Jammikunta, Odela, Peddapalli, Ramagundam, Mancheriyal, Ravindrakhani, Bellampalli, and Asifabad. The train will stop at these stations in both directions, making travel easier for passengers from towns and cities along the route.
Moreover, the Hyderabad-Vijayawada-Hyderabad Deccan Special Train will also run during this period. This train will stop at Secunderabad, Charlapalli, Bhongir, Jangaon, Ghanpur, Kazipet, Warangal, Nekonda, Kesarmudram, Mahbubabad, Dornakal, Khammam, and Madhira stations in both directions.
