Starting January 2025, SalamAir introduces a trio of innovative services to make flying more adaptable and cost-efficient for passengers. The Oman-based low-cost carrier is rolling out Express Bag, Priority, and Online Check-In options. These additions aim to give travelers the freedom to customize their journeys according to their preferences, available across all SalamAir booking platforms. SalamAir's CEO, Adrian Hamilton-Manns, emphasizes the airline's commitment to customer choice and cost-saving. This new strategy allows passengers to save 1OMR on travel expenses by opting for online check-in. For those preferring to check in at the airport, a fee will be introduced to cover service costs, underscoring the airline's flexible approach to travel.
The Express Bag service ensures quick baggage delivery, allowing travelers to bypass lengthy waits at baggage claims. Meanwhile, the Priority service not only lets passengers carry an extra 10kg bag on board but also includes priority boarding and a dedicated check-in area at the airport. These enhancements are aimed at streamlining the travel experience, from check-in to baggage collection.
Hamilton-Manns further elaborated, "These new services are designed to provide our passengers with increased choice and flexibility."
