Estimates suggest that around 5 million pilgrims will visit Ayodhya during Ram Navami, making it a massive gathering. To get ready for this big event, the temple managers, government, and people of Ayodhya are preparing everything. Every day, around 200,000 devotees visit the Ram Temple. But during special festivals like Ram Navami, this number can go up to 700,000.
To accommodate such a large influx of devotees, meticulous preparations are underway by both the temple administration and the state government. Despite challenges in estimating the exact number of attendees, security measures are being heightened to ensure the safety of all participants.
River Arrangements:
Given the tradition of devotees taking a dip in the sacred Sarayu River during Ram Navami, arrangements have been made to enhance safety and convenience. Additional fiber motorboats have been deployed, and barricades will be set up in the river to regulate the flow of people. The deployment of motorboats aims to facilitate smooth and secure access to the river for devotees.
Government Oversight:
Key officials, including the Deputy Inspector General of Police and the Chief Secretary, have visited Ayodhya to review the preparations for Ram Navami. Discussions have centered on traffic management, barricading strategies, and other logistical aspects to ensure the smooth flow of events and the safety of devotees.

Champat Rai, the General Secretary of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra, has highlighted the challenges posed by the increasing number of visitors to Ayodhya.
