The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted a change in the weather across Madhya Pradesh starting February 8. According to the forecast, rain showers are expected on February 12, 13, and 14. After this period, temperatures will gradually drop, leading to colder days and nights after February 20.

Current Weather Conditions in Madhya Pradesh
IMD observed that some areas, particularly in the Chambal division, have already received rainfall due to a western disturbance. However, most parts of Madhya Pradesh have remained dry. A significant drop in minimum temperatures was recorded in districts within the Indore division. The weather is expected to remain stable on February 7 and 8, before the anticipated rainfall begins.
Temperature Variations in Different Districts
According to the IMD bulletin, Madhya Pradesh has experienced dry weather over the last 24 hours. The coldest place in the state was Marukheda in Neemuch district, which recorded a minimum temperature of 10.2°C.
Other important temperature readings include:
- Raisen district recorded the lowest daytime temperature at 24.8°C.
- Naugaon, Indore, Tikamgarh, and Gwalior saw daytime temperatures between 25°C to 25.6°C.
- Girwar (Shajapur), Tikamgarh, Naugaon (Chhatarpur), and Rajgar recorded nighttime temperatures between 11.4°C to 12°C.
These temperature differences highlight the diverse weather conditions in different parts of Madhya Pradesh.
What to Expect in the Coming Days
The expected rainfall between February 12 and 14 will bring a shift in the weather. As the month progresses, cold conditions will reduce, and temperatures will drop further after February 20.
This change in weather will affect daily life, agriculture, and other activities that depend on climate conditions. Residents and travelers should prepare for rainy days followed by a cooler February end.
