Samarthanam Trust for the Disabled has proudly announced its 18th Annual Bengaluru Walkathon, in a significant move to champion health inclusivity. This noteworthy event, set to take place on December 14, 2024, at the Kittur Rani Chennamma Stadium in Jayanagar 3rd Block, promises to bring together individuals from all walks of life. By focusing on the theme "Health for All," it underscores the critical importance of equitable healthcare access, fostering a community that values inclusivity and active participation in promoting healthier lifestyles.

The press conference, orchestrated at the Press Club, Bengaluru, by Samarthanam Trust in conjunction with OpenText, the event's title sponsor, was a pivotal moment to share insights into the Walkathon’s objectives and activities. It saw participation from notable figures such as Mr. Manoj Nagpal of OpenText India and Dr. Mahantesh G. The support from OpenText and its Managing Director, Mr. Manoj Nagpal, further amplifies the event's impact. “OpenText is honoured to support this meaningful initiative, showcasing the strength of collective efforts towards creating a long-term social impact. By working together, we aim to drive positive change and empower communities to build a brighter, inclusive future,” said Mr. Nagpal. This partnership reflects a shared vision of leveraging community efforts to enact substantial, positive transformations within society.

The Walkathon is scheduled to begin at 9:00 AM, promising a day filled with activities aimed at promoting health awareness and inclusivity. Participants can look forward to an event that not only raises awareness about disabilities but also encourages an active, community-driven approach to health equity.

Samarthanam Trust acknowledges the generous support from its partners, including Klüber Lubrication, Blue Yonder, Microsoft, GKN Aerospace, FIS, CSC, and HIRE RIGHT.
