The initiative was spearheaded by Acharya Pramod Krishnam, chairman of the Shri Kalki Dham Nirman Trust, who extended the invitation to the Prime Minister. Notably, Krishnam had been expelled from the Congress party for six years due to anti-party remarks.
Expansive Development Initiatives
Following the temple's foundation stone ceremony, Prime Minister Modi announced the launch of 14,000 projects across Uttar Pradesh, collectively valued at more than Rs 10 lakh crore. These projects, part of the fourth groundbreaking ceremony for investment proposals from the UP Global Investors Summit 2023, signify a monumental step towards enhancing the state's infrastructure and economic prospects.

Prime Minister Modi, during his address, emphasized the collective will and devotion of saints and the public as pivotal in realizing the vision for the Kalki Dham Temple. "I am confident that Kalki Dham will emerge as another great centre of the Indian faith," he affirmed. The temple's construction, awaited for 18 years, was described as a fulfillment of a long-cherished dream shared by thousands of saints across the nation.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Acharya Pramod Krishnam also spoke at the event, highlighting the significant strides made in India's development and the resurgence of 'Sanatana Dharma'. The day's events were further sanctified by coinciding with the birth anniversary of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, adding a layer of historical reverence to the proceedings.
