BESCOM has announced a power outage in major areas of Bangalore due to scheduled maintenance work from 10:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. on September 25, 2025. These power outages will ensure the long-term smooth functioning of the electricity grid. This 7-hour-long power cut will affect BTM Layout, Sahakarnagar, and Jayanagar,
including hospitals. Moreover, residents are advised to cooperate with the company and plan their day accordingly. They should prepare for the inconvenience in advance.
List of Areas to be Affected in Bangalore
BTM Layout & Sub-Areas: St. John's Hostel, St. John's Wood Apartment, Taverekere, Oracle Junction, Christ College, and Gurappanapalya.
Sahakarnagar: Ballari Road, Amruthahalli, BGS Layout, Shabarinagar, Jakkur Layout, GKVK Layout, Sampigehalli Jayasurya Layout, Vidhanasoudha Layout, Sai Baba Layout, Telecom Layout, Kogilu Layout, IAS Road, and Akravathi Layout.
Jayanagar: Nimhans, Kidwai Rajiv Gandhi Hospital, Sanjay Gandhi Hospital, Indira Gandhi Hospital, Someshwaranagar, Wilson Garden, Bannerghatta Road, RV Road, IAS Colony, KAS Colony, Thalaghattapura, Konanakunte, Doddakallasandra, Shreenidhi Layout, Avalahalli, Arehalli, and Ittamadu AGS Layout.
