The outage will affect portions of MMDA Colony from A-Block through R-Block, Kamala Nehru Nagar 1st and 2nd Street, Ashoka Nagar, Subbarao Nagar, Veerapandi Nagar, Rani Annanagar, Kalki Nagar, and along 100 Feet Road, a corridor with heavy daily traffic. Wide areas of Arumbakkam will experience a power cut during the maintenance window. Affected zones include Metha Nagar, NM Road, MH Colony, Railway Colony, Ampa Skywalk, Franko India, Vaishnav College, Govindan Street, Collectrate Colony, Ayyavoo Colony Gayathri Devi, Razack Garden, JD Duraj Raj Nagar, Azad Nagar, VGA Nagar, and SBI Officers Colony. Further neighborhoods subjected to the shutdown are listed across Azahgiri Nagar, Choolaimedu, and Kodambakkam. Prominent streets affected include Thamizhar Veethi, Elangovadigal Nagar, Bathmanaban Main Road, Gandhi Annan Koil Street, Periyar Pathai, Ayyappan Nagar, Lakshmi Nagar, Andavan Street, multiple lanes in Sakthi Nagar and Thiruvalluvapuram, and portions of Nelson Manikam Road.
