Once again, the Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation has declared a power outage in Chennai on Monday, September 23, due to ongoing maintenance work. The power cut will mainly affect three major zones: the IT Corridor, College Road, and Thillai Ganga Nagar. Several areas and sub-areas in the city

will be affected by this power disruption till 2 P.M. The company also informed that power may be restored early if the maintenance work is completed before the scheduled time. Residents are advised to schedule important activities before or after the power cut and plan the day accordingly.
Areas of the IT Corridor to be Affected
Perungudi Industrial Estate, Burma Colony, Venkateswara Nagar, Seevaram, Canal Puram, Balamurugan Garden, Secretariat Colony, Neelangarai Link Road, Customs Colony, Rajiv Gandhi Salai, Panchayat Road, Elim Nagar, Kandanchavadi, Santhosh Nagar, Palraj Nagar, Veeramamunivar Salai, Elango Nagar, Kamaraj Street, Gandhi Street, Periyar Salai, Govindan Nagar, Palavakkam Canal Road, Kazura Garden, Renga Reddy Garden, Chinna Neelankarai Kuppam, Kapaleeshwarar Nagar, South and North Pandiyan Salai, Vaithiyalingam Salai, CLRI Nagar, and Ruby Complex.
Areas of College Road to be Affected
College Lane, Nungambakkam High Road, Moores Road, KNK Road, Wallace Garden (1st to 3rd Street), Rutland Gate (1st to 6th Street), Subbarao Avenue (1st to 3rd Street), Anderson Road, Haddows Road (1st and 2nd Street), Nawab Habibullah Avenue (1st and 2nd Street), and Pycrofts Garden Street.
Areas of Thillai Ganga Nagar to be Affected
Andal Nagar 1st Main Road Extension, Krishna Raja Nagar (1st to 4th Street and Extension), Brindhavan Nagar (1st to 7th Street and Extension), Nethaji Colony and 1st & 2nd Cross Street, Railway Colony 5th Layout, Southern Shelter, Narumukhai Apartments, Sai Nagar Annexe, Kaliamman Koil Street, Chinmaya Nagar Area, and West Natesan Nagar.
