Noida is set to introduce its first 'Waste-to-Wonder' jungle park like Delhi in July 2025. This ₹22 crore initiative will transform 500 tonnes of industrial and construction scrap into a wildlife-themed attraction. Situated in Sector 94, near the Okhla Bird Sanctuary, the 20-acre park will feature over 700 life-size animal sculptures and four global safari zones, merging sustainability with recreation.

Located close to the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway, this unique park has been undergoing final-stage trials since late June. It is expected to officially welcome visitors in early July 2025. The park's strategic location near major transport links ensures easy accessibility for tourists and locals alike.
Innovative Use of Scrap
A standout aspect of this park is its creative use of scrap materials. Approximately 500 tonnes of metal waste have been transformed into over 700 life-size sculptures, depicting animals from around the globe. From tigers and elephants to giraffes and dinosaurs, these sculptures showcase the potential of recycled art.
The park is divided into four distinct wildlife-themed zones: tropical, desert, grassland-wetland, and polar. Each zone offers visitors a chance to explore environments inspired by different continents through sculptures, landscaping, and interactive areas. Special lighting effects will simulate a "night safari" experience during evenings.
Visitor Amenities
The park boasts several amenities designed for visitor convenience. A foot overbridge and an underpass beneath the Mahamaya Flyover make it pedestrian-friendly. Inside, there is a 1,000-seat amphitheater, a food court, parking for more than 75 vehicles and eight buses, picnic spots, and souvenir stalls, ideal for family outings.
This project aligns with the Noida Authority's broader Waste-to-Wonder initiative under the Swachh Bharat Mission. It not only promotes environmental awareness but also illustrates how sustainable development can harmonize with recreation and urban planning. By turning waste into art, it sets an inspiring example for other cities.
Global Safari Experience
The park's division into four zones offers a global safari experience that allows visitors to immerse themselves in diverse habitats. The tropical zone features lush greenery, while the desert zone showcases arid landscapes. Grassland-wetland areas highlight aquatic life while polar regions depict icy terrains. With its opening scheduled for July 2025, this innovative space promises to become a landmark attraction in Noida. By blending creativity with sustainability, it aims to change tourism dynamics in the city while promoting eco-consciousness among visitors.
