New Vande Bharat Express Train from Agra to Delhi Will Take Just 1.5 Hours; Check Details

Indian Railways is launching a new service, the Vande Bharat Express Train, which will connect Uttar Pradesh with Delhi. This new train is set to be a gift to the people of Uttar Pradesh as it promises to cover the distance between Agra and New Delhi in just 1 hour and 30 minutes. This remarkable speed makes it one of the fastest train services in the country.

Vande Bharat Express from Agra to Delhi

One of the standout features of the Vande Bharat Express is its high speed of 160 km per hour. Unlike other trains that take 2 to 4 hours to cover the 200 km distance between New Delhi and Agra, this new train will complete the journey in just 90 minutes. Even Rajdhani Express takes 2 hours. This will significantly reduce travel time for passengers, making it a more convenient option.

Railway Board Chairman and CEO, Jaya Verma Sinha, shared some details about the new service. The train will have 16 coaches and will pass through Agra and Lucknow stations before reaching New Delhi. The trial run for the Vande Bharat Express is scheduled for July on the railway section. This will help ensure that everything is in order before the train starts its regular service.

In addition to its high speed, the Vande Bharat Express is equipped with an advanced armor system. This system was tested last week between Palwal and Vrindavan. During the test, the train ran at a speed of 160 km per hour with 8 coaches. The armor system ensures safety by automatically stopping the train smoothly at red signals without any input from the loco pilot. Jaya Verma Sinha confirmed that the trial of the armor system was successful, paving the way for the introduction of the Vande Bharat Metro train in Uttar Pradesh.

The Vande Bharat Express is expected to start its journey from Agra to New Delhi in the morning. Currently, the intercity train leaves Cantt station at 5.50 am, which suggests that the Vande Bharat Express might also have an early morning schedule. This will be convenient for passengers who need to reach Delhi early in the day.

Indian Railways is also planning to expand the Vande Bharat service to other cities that are within 150 to 200 km of each other. This expansion is part of their effort to provide faster and more efficient travel options to passengers across the country.

The new Vande Bharat Express from Uttar Pradesh to Delhi is not just about speed; it also represents a significant improvement in train travel. With the successful trial of the armor system, passengers can expect a safe and smooth journey. The introduction of this train is a testament to Indian Railways' commitment to improving its services and providing better travel experiences for passengers.

In summary, the Vande Bharat Express is set to revolutionize travel between Agra and New Delhi. With its high speed and advanced safety features, it promises to offer a quicker and more comfortable journey for passengers. The launch of this new train service is a significant step forward for Indian Railways, showcasing their dedication to enhancing connectivity and convenience for travelers in Uttar Pradesh and beyond.
