The administration has expressly prohibited the wearing of garments such as shorts, ripped jeans, and skirts, emphasizing the importance of traditional attire while entering the temple premises.

Ranjan Kumar Das, the temple administration's chief administrator, has been clear about the expectations for visitor attire. He advocates for traditional clothing like trouser pants, churidar, salwar kameez, and dhoti as appropriate for entering the temple. This move aligns with other shrines across the country that have similar dress codes in place. The temple police and servitors are entrusted with the responsibility of monitoring adherence to these guidelines, ensuring that the atmosphere within the temple remains respectful and dignified.

The Daitapati Nijog, a prominent body of servitors within the temple, has been vocal in its demand for a dress code for devotees. They have raised concerns about visitors wearing shorts and other casual attire, which they feel could compromise the religious sentiments of others who come to seek blessings at this revered site.
