Mumbai, June 27: Scheduled power shutdowns and maintenance activities have been announced for parts of the Mumbai Metropolitan Region on Saturday, June 27. According to the published maintenance schedule, electricity supply will be affected in select areas under Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) as well as sections served by the Central Railway Mumbai Division.

Consumers residing in the affected localities are advised to complete essential work in advance, charge electronic devices and plan their day according to the scheduled maintenance timings.

MSEDCL: Thane Rural, Diva and Kalwa

A day-long scheduled power shutdown has been announced for areas falling under the MSEDCL Thane Rural, Diva and Kalwa region.

Timing: 12:00 AM to 11:59 PM

Areas affected:

  • Thane Rural
  • Diva
  • Kalwa

Residents in these localities may experience power interruptions during the maintenance period and are advised to make necessary arrangements.

Central Railway - Mumbai Division

The Central Railway Mumbai Division has also scheduled a maintenance block that may impact electricity supply in certain railway-connected areas.

Timing: 1:20 AM to 3:50 AM

Areas affected:

  • Kalyan
  • Vangani
  • Badlapur
  • Karjat

The maintenance activity is expected to be completed within the scheduled window.

Why is there a scheduled power shutdown?
