In a major improvement to railway connectivity between Karnataka and Telangana, the South Central Railway has announced three new weekly express train services connecting Belagavi with Hyderabad, Secunderabad, and Charlapalli. Railway officials stated that the new trains are being introduced to improve travel convenience and strengthen rail links between north

Karnataka and important cities in Telangana.
Karnataka-Telangana Trains
• The Hyderabad-Belagavi Weekly Express will start operating from May 21. The train will leave Hyderabad every Thursday at 4:30 am and reach Belagavi at 10:30 am the next day. The return service from Belagavi will begin on May 15. It will depart every Friday at 1 pm and arrive in Hyderabad the following morning at 7 am.
• The Secunderabad-Belagavi Weekly Express will begin operations from May 18. The train will depart Secunderabad every Monday at 4:30 am and reach Belagavi at 10:30 am the next day. The return service from Belagavi will start from May 19 and will leave every Tuesday at 1 pm, reaching Secunderabad the next morning at 7:15 am.
• The Charlapalli-Belagavi Weekly Express will start running from May 16. The train will leave Charlapalli every Saturday at 4 pm and arrive in Belagavi on Sunday at 10:30 am. The return train from Belagavi will begin from May 17 and depart every Sunday at 1 pm, reaching Charlapalli on Monday at 8:45 am.
Major Stoppages & Train Features
Railway authorities said all three trains will stop at important stations such as Begumpet, Lingampalli, Vikarabad, Tandur, Yadgiri, Raichur, Mantralayam Road, Adoni, Guntakal, Ballari, Hosapete, Koppal, Gadag, Hubballi, Dharwad, Londa, and Khanapur. The trains will have modern LHB and ICF coaches with AC, sleeper, and general compartments. Some services will also include luggage and pantry facilities for passengers.
