Several localities in Hyderabad will witness scheduled power interruptions today, Friday, July 10, 2026, as the Telangana power utility undertakes feeder repair and maintenance works. Officials have announced temporary power shutdowns in parts of the Greenlands ADE and Banjara Hills ADE divisions to facilitate essential repair works.

The outages will be carried out in two separate time slots, with electricity supply expected to resume once the maintenance work is completed. Residents and commercial establishments in the affected areas are advised to charge electronic devices in advance and plan their activities accordingly.
Hyderabad Power Cut Today
According to the electricity department, the scheduled shutdowns will take place during the following hours:
- Morning: 9:30 AM to 12:00 Noon
- Afternoon: 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM
Greenlands ADE Areas Affected
Power supply will remain suspended under the following feeders:
9:30 AM to 12:00 Noon
- Hotel Green Park feeder
- Divya Shakti Apartment feeder
2:30 PM to 5:00 PM
- Srinivasa Colony East feeder
- Hyderabad Central feeder
Residents and businesses served by these feeders are likely to experience temporary disruptions during the scheduled maintenance period.
Banjara Hills ADE Areas Affected
Power interruptions have also been announced for parts of the Banjara Hills ADE jurisdiction.
9:30 AM to 12:00 Noon
Electricity supply will remain suspended in areas under:
- Jubilee Hills HP Gas Office feeder
- COD feeder
2:30 PM to 5:00 PM
Power supply will be interrupted in areas covered by:
- Jubilee Hills Road No. 58 feeder
- Hi-Tech Theater feeder
The scheduled shutdown is part of feeder repair works aimed at ensuring a more reliable power supply across the affected localities.
Advisory for Residents
Residents living in the affected areas are advised to charge mobile phones, laptops, inverters and other essential electronic devices before the scheduled outage begins. Apartment complexes, commercial establishments and offices should also make necessary arrangements for lifts, water pumps and backup power systems where available.
While the maintenance work is expected to conclude within the announced time slots, electricity supply may be restored earlier if the repair works are completed ahead of schedule. Those travelling or working from home in the affected areas are advised to factor the planned outage into their schedules.
