Himachal Pradesh, a stunning state in India noted for its breathtaking landscapes and peaceful environment, has an ambitious plan to "e-connect" temples that are expected to revolutionize religious tourism.

The cultural and economic foundation of Himachal Pradesh has always included a large component of religious tourism. Numerous historic temples in the state draw devotees from all over the world.
The initiative seeks to improve technical infrastructure and connection at temples all around the state, giving pilgrims a better overall experience. The state government, according to chief minister Thakur Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu, has undertaken several creative initiatives to take advantage of the resources and opportunities available in the state's tourism industry.
Himachal Pradesh has attracted pilgrims from all across the state, nation, and even the world because of its long history of magnificent temples and rich cultural legacy. Thousands of devotees are attracted to its Shaktipeeths.

The state has launched a ground-breaking project to create e-connectivity among its main temples to ensure accessibility for worshippers who are unable to visit in person.
The government has recently started a pilot project to offer online booking capabilities for Havan, Bhandara, including Jagran ceremonies at temples & Shaktipeeths in the state, beginning with the well-known Mata Chintpurni temple in the Una district.

Software creation is underway with this goal in mind. Devotees will be able to communicate with temple priests, schedule rituals, and make online payments using this digital portal. A favourable time for the devotees to execute the particular pooja will also be provided by the software.
This technological development highlights the state government's commitment to utilising information technology in all areas and to ensure the comfort and convenience of individuals.
