With the Pran Pratishtha event at the Ram Mandir approaching, the Uttar Pradesh government is making it easier for devotees and tourists to reach Ayodhya. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is set to inaugurate helicopter services from six key districts. Chief Minister is to inaugurate the service from Lucknow on January 19.
As the Pran Pratishtha event at the revered Ram Mandir approaches, the Uttar Pradesh government is taking steps to ease travel for devotees. Helicopter services will be available from Lucknow, Gorakhpur, Prayagraj, Varanasi, Agra, and Mathura.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is scheduled to inaugurate the helicopter service from Lucknow on Friday. This initiative aims to make the pilgrimage more accessible to devotees and tourists visiting Ayodhya Dham.
Aerial Darshan of Ayodhya
In addition to the helicopter services, the state government is introducing an enchanting aerial darshan of Ayodhya and the Ram temple. The helicopter rides will commence from a helipad near the tourism guesthouse along the Saryu River, covering key locations like the Ram temple, Hanumangarhi, and Saryu ghat.

Here are the essential details for those planning to avail themselves of the helicopter services and the aerial darshan:
1. Helicopter Services: Available from Gorakhpur, Varanasi, Lucknow, Prayagraj, Mathura, and Agra.
2. Aerial Darshan Route: Helicopter rides will cover the Ram temple, Hanumangarhi, Saryu ghat, and other significant places.
3. Booking Process: Interested individuals must make advance bookings for the aerial tour.
4. Duration and Fare:** The duration of the aerial tour is set for a maximum of 15 minutes, and the fare is Rs 3,539 per person.
5. Fare Details for Specific Routes:
- Gorakhpur to Ayodhya: Rs 11,327 per person for a 40-minute flight covering 126 km.
- Varanasi and Lucknow to Ayodhya: Rs 14,159 per person for 55-minute and 45-minute flights, respectively.
- Prayagraj to Ayodhya: Rs 14,159 per person for a 50-minute flight.
- Mathura and Agra to Ayodhya: Rs 35,399 per person for a 135-minute flight.
