Many parts of Karnataka are expected to experience long power cuts this week due to maintenance work planned by the Bangalore Electricity Supply Company Limited (BESCOM). The outages may last up to eight hours on Friday and Saturday. Along with this, the Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Limited (KPTCL) will also
carry out emergency repair work between December 11 and December 13, which may lead to around six-hour power cuts in several localities. According to the latest update from BESCOM, all villages around the Tumkur region will face power interruptions because of the ongoing 11/KV line shifting work. These outages are expected between 9 AM and 5 PM on December 12 and 13.
Bengaluru Power Cut on December 12
KPTCL will conduct emergency maintenance from 10 AM to 3 PM on December 12. This will affect areas connected to the Devarabeesanahalli and Adugodi substations in the Koramangala division.

Devarabeesanahalli, Bellandur, RMZ Ecoworld, Exospace, Kariyammana Agrahara, Sakra Hospital, Passport Office, Shobha Apartments, Outer Ring Road, 5th Industrial Layout, Koramangala, Madiwala Venkateshwara Layout, Chikka Adugodi, Jogi Colony, East Land Holding Building, St. John Staff Quarters, Maruthinagar, Adugodi 7th & 8th Blocks, and C.A.R. Police Quarters.

On December 13, more power cuts are expected between 11 AM and 5 PM around the Attur and Yelahanka substations.
