The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a weather warning about sudden changes in weather conditions across many parts of India, including Delhi. According to the forecast, several regions may experience rain, thunderstorms, lightning, and even hailstorms in the coming days.

Delhi Rain Alert
In northwest India, Delhi and nearby states will experience unstable weather conditions with strong winds, rainfall, and possible hailstorms. These changes are mainly due to weather systems affecting the region. Another spell of rain is likely to begin around April 7, which may last for a few days.
Rain Alert in Other Parts of India
The northeastern states are also expected to receive heavy rainfall along with thunderstorms and lightning. Similarly, eastern and central parts of India may face stormy weather conditions, including gusty winds and scattered rain. Southern states are not completely safe either, as thunderstorms and light rainfall are predicted there as well.
Major Weather Changes
These weather changes may lead to a temporary drop in temperature, giving some relief from the rising summer heat. However, the sudden and unpredictable nature of these conditions can cause disruptions, especially for travellers.
Advisory for Travellers
Travellers are advised to stay alert and regularly check weather updates before planning trips. Sudden rain, lightning, or hailstorms can affect transportation, including flights, trains, and road travel. It is important to plan journeys carefully, allow extra time, and avoid travelling during severe weather warnings.
