On Tuesday, parts of Noida, Greater Noida, and nearby areas experienced rainfall, relief from the warm weather that had felt over the past week. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow alert for Wednesday, predicting possible thunderstorms and strong winds. Light to moderate rain was experienced in many

sectors during the morning and afternoon, after a steady increase in heat in early April. The sky remained cloudy, and temperatures dropped slightly compared to previous days. On Tuesday, the highest temperature was around 31°C, while the lowest was about 17.3°C.
Delhi Rain Alert
Weather reports state that areas in Delhi-NCR, including Noida, may continue to receive occasional rain in the coming days. Wind speeds could reach 40 to 50 km/h. Although the rain helped cool the extreme weather, it also caused minor problems, including waterlogging in low-lying places and slow traffic in certain areas.
Day temperatures are expected to stay between 27°C and 31°C, while night temperatures may be around 17°C to 18°C. From April 9, the weather is likely to become stable, with clearer skies. Between April 10 and 12, temperatures may rise again to about 32-33°C. Air quality has also improved slightly, remaining in the moderate range.
Reason Behind Delhi's Rainfall
According to a weather expert, clouds moved from northeast Rajasthan and Haryana towards Delhi-NCR, causing light/short rain showers. However, the clouds did not develop enough to create hailstorms. People living in Noida felt the sudden change in the weather. Many felt that the rain helped reduce the increasing heat and made the environment more comfortable. The IMD has predicted that cloudy skies will continue until Wednesday, with chances of one or two spells of rain or thunderstorms. Strong winds, lightning, and thunderstorms may occur, so people are advised to be careful while going outdoors.
