Delhi, June 28: Several parts of the national capital are set to witness scheduled power cuts on Sunday, June 28, as electricity distribution companies undertake planned maintenance and infrastructure-related works. Areas served by BSES Rajdhani Power Limited (BRPL), BSES Yamuna Power Limited (BYPL), Tata Power Delhi Distribution Limited (TPDDL) and the New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) will be affected for a few hours.

The planned shutdowns are part of routine maintenance aimed at ensuring the reliability and safety of Delhi's electricity network. Residents in the affected localities are advised to complete essential work in advance and keep electronic devices fully charged.

- Vasant Kunj (Pocket 4, Sector D): 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM
- Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU): 11:06 AM to 11:51 AM
- Various sectors of Dwarka: 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM
East Delhi (BYPL)
- Mayur Vihar: 9:30 AM to 2:00 PM
North Delhi (TPDDL)
- Rohini and Model Town: 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM
North-West Delhi (TPDDL)
- Pitampura: 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Why Is There a Scheduled Power Cut?
The temporary power shutdowns are part of routine maintenance and network improvement works carried out by Delhi's power distribution companies.
