Such maintenance helps improve the stability of the electricity supply, reduces the risk of unexpected outages and ensures smoother operation of transformers, feeders and other electrical infrastructure.

Advisory for Residents

Residents in the affected areas are advised to charge mobile phones, laptops and other essential electronic devices before the scheduled shutdown. Those working from home or operating businesses dependent on electricity should make alternate arrangements where necessary. Although power supply is expected to resume as per the announced schedule, restoration may vary slightly depending on the progress of maintenance work.

Consumers can also check with their respective electricity distribution companies for the latest updates regarding restoration of power in their locality.
