Several parts of Delhi will experience scheduled power outages on Saturday, July 11, as power distribution companies undertake routine maintenance and infrastructure-related works across different parts of the city. Consumers in several South, East, North and North-West Delhi localities have been advised to plan their day in advance as electricity supply will remain suspended for a few hours depending on the area.

According to the scheduled maintenance plan, the temporary outages are intended to improve the reliability and efficiency of the power distribution network. Power supply is expected to be restored once the maintenance work is completed.

Maintenance Work Behind the Outage

The scheduled shutdown has been planned to facilitate maintenance activities and strengthen the electricity distribution system. Such works are carried out periodically to inspect feeders, repair equipment, and reduce the chances of unexpected power disruptions during periods of high electricity demand.

While the outage is temporary, residents may experience interruptions to household appliances, internet connectivity, water pumps and other electrical services during the scheduled hours.
