New Delhi: Several parts of Delhi are set to experience scheduled power outages on Friday, July 10, 2026, as power distribution companies carry out maintenance, transformer upgrades, network enhancement and other infrastructure works. According to the scheduled shutdown plan, areas under BSES Rajdhani Power Limited (BRPL), BSES Yamuna Power Limited (BYPL) and Tata Power Delhi Distribution Limited (TPDDL) will witness temporary disruptions in electricity supply at different times during the day.
Residents in the affected localities are advised to plan their day accordingly, charge essential electronic devices in advance and keep backup power arrangements ready wherever necessary.

Why Is There a Scheduled Power Cut?
According to BSES, the temporary shutdowns are part of planned maintenance, transformer upgrades, LTAB circuit installation, feeder inspections and network enhancement works aimed at improving the reliability and stability of Delhi's electricity supply.
Advisory for Residents
Consumers in the affected areas are advised to charge mobile phones, laptops and other essential devices before the scheduled shutdown begins. Those working from home or running businesses dependent on uninterrupted electricity should make suitable backup arrangements.
Power supply is expected to be restored once the maintenance work is completed. However, restoration may vary slightly depending on field conditions and the progress of the scheduled works.
