Bhopal, June 28: Several parts of Bhopal will experience scheduled power outages on Saturday, June 28, as the electricity department undertakes maintenance and infrastructure works, including metro line shifting, conductor augmentation and transformer shifting. Residents in multiple localities have been advised to plan their day in advance, as electricity supply will remain suspended for several hours in the affected areas.

Most scheduled outages will be from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, while a few localities in E-4 and E-5 sectors will witness a shorter outage till 1:00 PM.
Why is there a power cut in Bhopal today?
According to the electricity department, the shutdown has been planned to facilitate essential maintenance work, metro-related infrastructure shifting, conductor augmentation and transformer relocation. Power supply will be restored after the scheduled work is completed.
