Karnataka is preparing for a major event in global tourism with the second Karnataka International Travel Expo (KITE) 2025, which will take place in Bengaluru from February 26-28. The event was announced during a special program at Vidhana Soudha by H.K. Patil, Minister for Law, Parliamentary Affairs, and Tourism. More than 400 hosted buyers and over 150 local tourism companies are expected to participate, making it a great opportunity for networking in the travel and tourism sector.

Showcasing Karnataka's Hidden Treasures
The goal of KITE 2025 is to highlight Karnataka's lesser-known but beautiful tourist destinations. The state is famous for Hampi and Coorg, but the expo will focus on hidden gems, eco-tourism, adventure travel, and wellness retreats. It will also promote sustainable tourism to protect Karnataka's natural beauty for future generations.
Visitors can enjoy cultural exhibitions, taste local food, and meet artisans, making it a complete experience of Karnataka's rich traditions.
Aiming for Global Recognition
KITE 2025 is more than just a tourism event. It is a strategic step to make Karnataka a top international travel destination. The expo will help bring in investments, boost economic growth, and encourage eco-friendly and unique travel options.
Many important tourism and hospitality organizations are supporting this project, including the Federation of Hotel and Restaurant Associations of India (FHRAI), Travel Agents Association of India (TAAI), Indian Association of Tour Operators (IATO), Karnataka Tourism Forum (KTF), and South India Hotels and Restaurants Association (SIHRA). Their involvement shows a strong commitment to making Karnataka a major player in global tourism.
KITE 2025 is not just a business expo; it is a platform for discovery, innovation, and collaboration in the tourism industry. It marks the beginning of an exciting journey for Karnataka's tourism sector, opening new opportunities while celebrating the state's rich heritage and culture. This event will set a new standard for future tourism initiatives in Karnataka.
