The Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) previously targeted an August 15 launch. However, the elevated corridor timeline has now shifted to late August. This initial 7.5-kilometer elevated phase includes six key stations along Bannerghatta Road. It features a critical interchange at Jayadeva Hospital for Yellow Line transit.
Bengaluru Metro Pink Line Stations and Operations
Namma Metro has received six trains from BEML for this southern section. During peak hours, trains are expected to run every five minutes. The six active stations are Kalena Agrahara, Hulimavu, and IIM-Bangalore. Commuters can also board at JP Nagar 4th Phase, Jayadeva Hospital, and Tavarekere. Services will offer swift transit options across South Bengaluru.
