As the excitement of the Indian Premier League begins in Bengaluru, a large number of cricket fans are expected to gather around the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium for the first match in the city. Therefore, Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited has introduced special arrangements to handle the heavy rush.

Parking Facilities in Bengaluru Metro Stations
BMRCL has provided extra parking facilities at 44 Metro stations across the city. On match days, people with match tickets can park their vehicles at a fixed and affordable rate. Two-wheeler parking will cost Rs 30, while car parking will cost Rs 60. This fee will be valid until the end of Metro services for that day. This step aims to reduce traffic congestion near the stadium and encourage fans to use the Metro.

The additional parking facilities are available at many important Metro stations, including Whitefield, Kadugodi Tree Park, Pattandur Agrahara, Kundalahalli, Hoodi, Baiyappanahalli Metro Station, Majestic Metro Station, City Railway Station Metro Station, Mysore Road, Kengeri Bus Terminal, Nagasandra, Chickpete, Lalbagh, Jayanagar, Banashankari, Yelachenahalli, R.
