IndiGo is set to launch a new non-stop flight connecting Bengaluru and Krabi, starting from March 30. This new route makes Bengaluru the second Indian city, after Mumbai, to offer direct flights to Krabi. The airline aims to make travel easier for passengers visiting Thailand's famous beaches and islands. With this expansion, IndiGo continues to strengthen its position in the international aviation market.
Daily Flight Schedule
The new Bengaluru-Krabi flight, numbered 6E 1083, will depart every day at 3:30 pm and land in Krabi at 8:45 pm. The return flight, 6E 1084, will take off from Krabi at 11:35 am and arrive in Bengaluru at 1:40 pm. By introducing this route, IndiGo is improving international connectivity and boosting Bengaluru's reputation as a growing global travel hub.
IndiGo's Expanding International Network
Vinay Malhotra, the head of Global Sales at IndiGo, expressed excitement about the launch of this new route. He highlighted how this connection will strengthen ties between India and Thailand. "We're pleased to launch daily direct flights between Bengaluru and Krabi, bridging the gap between India and Thailand like never before with more than 95 weekly flights," Malhotra said.
This announcement comes after IndiGo's successful launch of direct flights from Mumbai to Krabi. The growing demand for travel to Thailand has encouraged IndiGo to expand its services, offering passengers a smooth and cost-effective journey.
Krabi: A Popular Tourist Destination
Krabi is known for its beautiful limestone cliffs, untouched beaches, and vibrant coral reefs. It is a top travel destination for people who love nature and adventure. With this new flight, travelers from Bengaluru can now reach Krabi more easily, without the need for long layovers or connecting flights.
IndiGo already operates more than 200 daily flights from Bengaluru, connecting passengers to over 65 domestic and more than ten international destinations. The addition of Krabi marks IndiGo's 12th international and 81st overall destination, reflecting its commitment to expanding international travel options.
