Rail travel between Karnataka and Telangana has received a big improvement with the launch of the new Belagavi-Secunderabad Weekly Express. The train was flagged off on May 19 at Belagavi Railway Station by Jagadish Shettar. This new weekly train service will make travel easier and more comfortable for thousands

of passengers who frequently travel between the two states.
Belagavi-Secunderabad Weekly Express
The new express train will operate once a week in both directions. Train No. 17074 will run from Belagavi to Secunderabad every Tuesday. Train No. 17073 will run from Secunderabad to Belagavi every Monday. The service will provide direct connectivity between the two important cities and reduce travel difficulties for passengers.
The Belagavi-Secunderabad train will leave Belagavi at 1:00 pm and reach Secunderabad at 7:15 am the next morning. In the return direction, the train will depart from Secunderabad at 4:30 pm on Mondays and arrive in Belagavi at 10:30 am the next day.
Important Stoppages
During its journey, the train will stop at many important stations. These include Begampet, Lingampalli, Vikarabad Junction, Tandur, Yadgir, Krishna, Raichur, Manthralayam Road, Adoni, Guntakal Junction, Ballari Junction, Daroji, Toranagallu, Hosapete Junction, Koppal, Gadag Junction, SSS Hubballi Junction, Dharwad, Londa Junction, and Khanapur before finally reaching Belagavi.
How will it benefit the Passengers?
Earlier, passengers travelling between the two cities often had to change trains or depend on long road journeys. The new direct train service is expected to save both time and money. It will also make travel less stressful by removing the need for multiple train changes.
