The launch of these services comes at a pivotal time, right before the auspicious consecration ceremony at the Ram temple scheduled on January 22.

The Dawn of a New Era in Ayodhya's Connectivity
The extended runway at Maryada Purushottam Shri Ram International Airport is equipped to accommodate A-321/B-737 type aircraft, enhancing Ayodhya's connectivity with the rest of India. Air India Express's maiden flight on December 30 will see a new chapter in travel conveniences for Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities, as noted by the airline's Managing Director Aloke Singh. The inauguration of the Ayodhya service illustrates the airline's commitment to expanding its reach and providing seamless travel experiences to passengers. The airline's expansion is in line with the growth and development of regional airports across India, which is a key factor in the nation's aviation strategy.
Ayodhya Airport: A Testament to the City's Development
The Ayodhya airport, developed by the Airports Authority of India (AAI) at a cost of around Rs 350 crore, has already garnered attention with the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) issuing an aerodrome licence on December 14. The airport's readiness was confirmed by Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia, who announced that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is slated to inaugurate the facility. Ayodhya's airport is set to become a central hub for spiritual tourism and a symbol of the city's advancement.
