As Navratri approaches, Gujarat Tourism invites everyone to join in the grand celebration of this vibrant festival. This year, Ahmedabad will host the biggest Garba event, promising a celebration like no other. The inauguration ceremony will take place on October 3, 2024, at Gujarat University Ground, near Helmet Char Rasta, Ahmedabad. The event will start at 8:00 p.m. Union Minister of Home Affairs and Cooperation, Shri Amitbhai Shah, will inaugurate the Vibrant Navratri Festival 2024, with the Chief Minister of Gujarat, Shri Bhupendrabhai Patel, making a special appearance. The theme for this year's opening ceremony is "Jai Ma Adyashakti, dedicated to Goddess Durga.

Schedule of Events
Here's what you can expect during Navratri 2024 in Gujarat:
- Inaugural Ceremony: October 3, 2024, on the theme "Jai Ma Adyashakti." The evening will feature a multimedia cultural program and a grand Mahaarti to start the celebrations.
- Sheri Garba: From October 4 to 11, 2024, Garba performances will take place from 9:00 PM to 11:45 PM. These performances will be held on the main stage by renowned artists, and traditional dress is compulsory for all participants.
- Mahaarti: Each night from October 4 to 11, 2024, a special Mahaarti will be conducted at 11:45 PM to conclude the evening's Garba celebrations.
