The best time to visit Nagercoil is between October and February when heat from the sun is warm. This is the best time for sightseeing and traveling in the region as one can avoid the scorching heat of the summer sun and the wet conditions of the monsoons. Summer

Summer in Nagercoil is hot and humid due to its proximity to the sea. The summers begin from March and continue until the end of May. The temperature rises to about 35 degrees Celsius and the afternoon scan become extremely hot when the sun is shining in all its glory.

Monsoon

Monsoons in Nagercoil are a welcome respite from the scorching heat of the sun. Monsoons visit the place towards the end of May and last until the end of September. The region receives heavy rainfall, and the rains are accompanied with thunderstorms. The temperature dips to about 25 degrees Celsius but the humidity level increases.

Winter
