'Tibetan School and Homes' is located in the vicinity of the Tibetan Buddhist Temple in Mussoorie. It was founded by HH The Dalai Lama to provide shelter and education to hundreds of children of Tibetan refugees. The place which represents the rich culture and tradition of the Tibetan people also offers an insight into the struggle and suffering of the refugee children.
There are idols of Lord Buddha, prayer wheels and meditation halls in the premises of the foundation. Travellers can see beautiful carvings on the walls, ceilings and panels of the home.
