Mararikulam Weather

The pleasant tropical climate makes Mararikulam a tourist spot of all seasons. However, it is not to visit this place during the summer and monsoon. The best time to visit Mararikulam is between September and March.

Summer

Mararikulam experiences a tropical but moderate and balanced climate. Being a coastal village the weather tends to be humid as well. The summer season sets in March and shows its heat till May. During summer the temperatures varies from 32°C to 36°C. If you are planning to visit Mararikulam in summer, do not forget to carry cotton clothes.  

Monsoon

The climate of Mararikulam is similar to that of other coastal areas of Kerala. Monsoons are extensive, and the sleepy village receives heavy rainfall with southwest and northeast monsoons. Monsoon clouds hovers over Mararikulam from June to early September.  

Winter

Winter is very pleasant and enjoyable in Mararikulam. Winter onsets in December and continues till February. The town enjoys a comfortably mild as well as pleasant climate during this season. The temperature varies from 24°C to 32°C during this season.
