Mahe Weather

The best season to visit Mahe is between October and March. The temperature and general climate are suitable for moving about freely in the open, and a number of attractions see the most rush in the October-December period.

Summer

Summers in Mahe are traditionally very hot, and it is advisable not to visit during this time. The heat is so severe that dehydration, mild heat-strokes and prickly heat rashes are common in the summer months if one is not careful.

Monsoon

Mahe sees good rainfall during the monsoon and due to this, sight-seeing and exploration might be difficult. Tourists are advised to carry a raincoat and/or an umbrella if visiting during this time as the weather is unpredictable for the most part.

Winter

Winters in Mahe are pleasant with the temperature generally hovering around 20-25 °C. This is an ideal time to visit for people interested in exploring the delights Mahe has to offer. This period is the busiest the town sees as a lot of tourists can be found here during the winter months.
