Sam Sand Dunes is also located at a distance of 42 km from the Jaisalmer city. Sunset is the best time to enjoy the silhouette view of the desert here. Tourists can enjoy camp fires, camel and jeep safaris in the sand dunes. The Desert Festival is organised here in the month of February and March, when the place transforms into a cultural hub. Puppet shows, folk dances, camel races and open-air cultural shows are the prime attractions of the festival.
